SUPERIOR!

Congratulations to the 7th and 8th grade band students who traveled to Gadsden Alabama for Music Performance Assessment recently.  After many weeks of hard work, these students performed a concert of three musical pieces for three qualified judges.  After the stage performance, the group was escorted to a room where they read  and performed a piece of music they had not previously seen.  This group of talented students received the highest marks possible, " Superior Ratings."  This is the first time that the ZEJH band has made Superior Ratings at State Contest, and we are very proud of them.

Ms. Todd would like to thank the students for their HARD work, the parents for their unyielding assistance, the THS band and Mr. McDaniel for their continued support and Mr. Bailey and Mrs. Thomas for the opportunity to have a great band program at Zora Ellis.
