January Student of the Month

My name is Dylan B.  Although I am currently playing basketball, my favorite sport is football. When I graduate from high school, I plan to attend the University of Alabama and study engineering. I would also like to be a pro football player.

Coke Sale

Our spring Coke sale will be February 4-February 15. A variety of Coke products are available. Order forms will be sent home with students and extra forms may be picked up at the front office. Cokes will be available for pickup March 9 from 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at the Dixon building across the street from Ellis.

Jersey Day

 Friday, February 1st is "Jersey Day!" For $2.00, students may wear the jersey of their choice. (Pants must follow dress code policy.) Participating students may turn in their money to their first period teacher.

SchoolCast Calling

IMPORTANT!!!!

Yesterday, January 23rd, letters were sent home with each student asking for up-to-date phone numbers. These numbers will be used in our SchoolCast calling system to inform you of school closings, delays, sporting events, and other school information. Please return these forms ASAP, so that you will be aware of important news from Ellis. Forms may be turned in to Mrs. Thomas, the front office, or first period teachers.  

Superintendents' Art Contest Winners

Ellis is thrilled to announce that eight of our students' artwork will represent the Talladega City Schools at the State Superintendents' Art Contest in Montgomery. These students are Simon T. JoAnna L., Amber F., Jordan M., Ashton M., Raven V., Iyan U., and Nyjahl G. A special "thank you" to Ms. Phillips for her help!

Attention!! Students should no longer turn in absences to their teachers!

Located inside the main office is a box where students and/or parents may deposit absences. All absences (whether parent-written or from the doctor) must be turned in within 3 days from the date the student is absent.
