Archery Team Competes at State

Congratulations to our fantastic archery team!

 

 

We are so proud of them for qualifying to compete at the State level in Montgomery! Although not official, the team shot 2,835 according to Coach Ward's calculations. On April 4th, the day they left to compete, they were featured in a great front-page article in the The Daily Home. (You can access this article by clicking here.) We appreciate Coach Ward for serving as sponsor this year, to our parents for supporting and transporting the students home from practices, and to our students for their positive attitudes and excellent archery skills!  

March Student of the Month

My name is T. Johnson. I like to play baseball and enjoy watching the Atlanta Braves. I had rather watch football than play it. I think the University of Alabama has the best team, and this is where I plan to attend when I graduate from high school. My favorite subject is math. My mom is one of my teachers.

Work Day March 16th

Help spruce up our building and grounds Saturday, March 16th from 8:00-11:00. Students can earn a homework pass if they work and additional passes for each parent who works!

Cupcake Sale

 

 

Cupcakes will be on sale 5th and 6th period March 14th-15th for 75 cents each. Please help us support cancer awareness.

 

Coke Products

Students and parents who ordered Coke products may pick them up beginning Thursday, March 7th from 8:00-3:30.

February Student of the Month

My name is Myanna K., and I am in the 7th grade. I am an honor roll student and member of the Junior National BETA Club. My hobbies include reading and listening to music. When I graduate from high school, I plan to attend the University of Alabama in Birmingham to become a pediatrician.
